Job Sprinter ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by The Sprinter LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Job Sprinter at jobsprinter.app.
1. Information We Collect
Google Account Information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We also receive OAuth tokens that allow the app to access Google Drive and Google Sheets on your behalf.
Receipt and Project Data. We store the receipt images you upload, along with extracted data (merchant name, total, date, category, notes) and any project or expense information you enter.
Usage Data. We collect analytics data through Google Analytics, including pages visited, features used, and general usage patterns. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Payment Information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or billing details — Stripe handles all payment data directly.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Job Sprinter service, including OCR processing of receipts, project management, and expense tracking
- To sync your receipt images and expense data to your Google Drive and Google Sheets, as authorized by you
- To manage your subscription and process payments through Stripe
- To improve the app through aggregated analytics
- To send you service-related communications (account alerts, payment notifications)
3. Google API Services
Job Sprinter's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically:
- We use Google Drive solely to store receipt images and project photos in folders you own, organized by project
- We use Google Sheets solely to sync your expense data to spreadsheets you own
- We use Google Vision API solely to extract text from receipt images you upload
- We do not use Google user data to serve advertising
- We do not sell Google user data to third parties
- We do not share Google user data with third parties except as necessary to provide the Job Sprinter service
- We do not use Google user data for any purpose not described in this Privacy Policy
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secured servers. Google OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Receipt images are stored in your own Google Drive account. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days.
5. Third-Party Services
- Google — OAuth authentication, Drive storage, Sheets sync, Vision API OCR, Analytics
- Stripe — Subscription billing and payment processing
- Render — Application hosting
6. Your Rights
Access and Portability. You can export your receipt data at any time from your account.
Deletion. You can delete your account by contacting us at support@jobsprinter.app. We will delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
Revoke Google Access. You can revoke Job Sprinter's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions. This will disable Drive and Sheets sync but will not delete your Job Sprinter account or receipt data.
7. Children's Privacy
Job Sprinter is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by a notice within the app. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
